Recently we decided that the old orange camp shirts that were dyed and embroidered to match the Karmann Cutie were "too much". That was an eyeful of orange that looks far better on the car than on a person. So we planned to upgrade this years more formal car show wear to something a little more subtle. We were able to find some wrinkle and stain resistant buttons ups designed for wearing in the kitchen. They have cooling fabric panels on the sides and come in a nice cut.
We added the Karmann Ghia logo to the left breast in an orange thread, and some orange piping along the front opening. Et Voila! I think we may be the best dressed at any of the local shows this year.
